Last call for BBCSDL v0.16 requests
Post by Richard Russell on Jan 24th, 2017, 2:18pm

As I have already alluded to, the next release of BBCSDL (the cross-platform version of BBC BASIC) is due at the beginning of next month, which is only just over a week away. Time is now very short for making requests for any new features etc. to be incorporated.

So please take this opportunity to put your thinking-caps on and let me know if there is anything you particularly want (please don't ask for the creation of standalone executables in Linux 86 or Mac OS: one day I hope that will be possible but at the moment it is beyond my abilities).

Richard.

How about a built in turtle graphics tool? That would allow turtle designed objects that can be rotated. That could help people make games .

I believe the supplied example program POINTER.BBC does that, or something very similar, doesn't it? I've only ever run the demo, but it's got commands like FD (forward) and TN (turn) which are quite Logo-like. There are more details here.
